Bangalore (Karnataka) [India], April 28: <\/b>Bengaluru\u2019s women entrepreneurs are shining on the global jewellery map, thanks to their remarkable contributions to the gem and jewellery industry, said Shri N. A. Haris, Chairman of the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).<\/p>\n

He was addressing the audience at the\u00a03rd Edition of the IBJA Golden Girls Awards<\/strong>, held at Hotel Shangri-La, Bengaluru. The event was organized by the\u00a0India Bullion & Jewellers Association (IBJA)<\/strong>\u00a0under the leadership of\u00a0Dr. Chetan Kumar Mehta, National President (Jewellery Division, IBJA)<\/strong>, in association with\u00a0Heera Zhaveraat Trade Media Group Enterprises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Highlighting Karnataka\u2019s growing global prominence, Shri Haris emphasized that\u00a0Bengaluru<\/strong>\u00a0has secured a significant place in the world\u2019s gem and jewellery sector, largely due to the dynamism of its women entrepreneurs. Recognizing and celebrating their achievements through such awards, he noted, is truly commendable.<\/p>\n

Delivering the keynote address,\u00a0Dr. Chetan Kumar Mehta<\/strong>\u00a0stated, \u201cEmpowering women is not a new concept; women are already powerful. Our gem and jewellery industry is glittering today because of leading women entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and excellence. Women have taken charge in every aspect \u2014 from designing to manufacturing \u2014 and are now the backbone of our industry. These awards honour their resilience, success, and their ability to set new standards of excellence.\u201d<\/p>\n
