Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 28: The spectacular fashion organized by the Rotary District 3141’s towards its flagship fundraising initiative with an inspiring show was witnessed none other than Hari Anand—the internationally acclaimed designer from Kochi, known for his exceptional craftsmanship and fashion-forward vision.
This iconic night marked the culmination of their Rotary Foundation Events, blending glamour with purpose and style with service. This fashion show served as a perfect, glittering crescendo part of Rotary Foundation’s 1-million-dollar collection challenge, successfully completed within the last 30 days of the current Rotary International year. It embodied the spirit of community, dedication, and impactful philanthropy that defined the entire fundraising drive, offering a vibrant and celebratory conclusion to their monumental achievement.
The event was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Bharat Pandya, Rotary Foundation Trustee (India) whom praised the bold synergy of creativity and cause. Gracing the event, in the audience we had Shri Nirmal Jain, Chairman, IIFL Capital as ourGuest of Honour.
A Collection of Timeless Elegance & Modern Flair: Hari Anand’s “The Wedding Circus”
Hari Anand’s finale collection, “The Wedding Circus,” was a celebration of love, glamour, and playful rebellion. This collection re-imagined the traditional bridal experience through a lens of theatrical opulence and unapologetic joy. Here, the bride is the ring master of her own fantasy.
Each look blends haute couture craftsmanship with a sense of liberation. The collection is not only visually stunning, but also emotionally resonant, evoking feelings of joy and awe.
Drawing inspiration from the circus, ancient majestic weddings to modern minimal breath-taking opulence, every garment has a story to tell. Metallic fabrics, luxurious silk with intricate weave, and denims considered as streetwear are converted into luxurious ceremonial wear; his collection played the magic of love.
An opening dance performance by talented Samuel (IG: isamemmanual) energized the room before the gorgeous 22 supermodels dazzled the runway and confidently carried looks that exuded style and class, choreographed by renowned fashion director Lovell Prabhu all the way from Pune to the rhythmic pulse of DJ Sanket’s beats. Each model became a living canvas, showcasing Hari Anand’s powerful design language with poise and grace. The showstopper for Hari Anand’s collection was Femina Miss India – Femina Timeless Beauty – Kingfisher Calendar Super Model – Actor & Internationally Renowned DJ – Akshitaa Agnihotri.

Hari Anand’s design journey continues to redefine excellence, known for his minimalist yet powerful silhouettes and luxurious fabric language. Like father like daughters – Alka and Aditi stood shoulder to shoulder while presenting the creative styles under the label – Hari Anand Private. His collection was completed with sparkling statement jewellery pieces from the event Partner and Co-curator Dhanani Jewels, giving the ensembles a finishing touch of timeless luxury.
Celebrating Diversity & Inclusion Through Fashion
What made the evening even more powerful was its inclusive narrative. At the heart of this grand spectacle was District Governor Chetan Desai’s visionary concept: to craft a finale that united fashion with Rotary’s values of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Designers from across India were invited to present their collections—bringing together creativity from diverse geographies and traditions, reinforcing the idea that just as Rotary is for all, fashion is for all.
In a touching gesture of community upliftment, a special showcase by Manubhai Jewellers—the renowned house from Borivali—featured the donation of specially designed mobility bikes for differently-abled individuals, aimed at empowering livelihoods and spreading dignity.
In addition to Hari Anand’s show-stopping finale, the evening featured exclusive collections from celebrated designers whose collections added immense depth and diversity to the fashion narrative of the evening:
- Mumtaz Khan (Bhopal) – whose intricate detailing and regal aesthetics highlighted the grandeur of Indian couture.
- Jaya Misra (Kolkata) – recognized for her fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary global aesthetics, offering inclusive luxury.

The glamorous runway looks were brought to life by Hair & Makeup Partner Rajesh Patil, ensuring each model radiated confidence and charm aligned with the designer’s vision.
The entire show was brilliantly choreographed by industry veteran Lovell Prabhu from Pune, who transformed the event into an immersive fashion spectacle. Lovell was supported backstage by the energetic team of NIF Global, Pimpri-Chinchwad, who brought creativity and technical precision to the show’s execution.
